Durston rolling mills are fitted with self-lubricating bearings guaranteed for life. CE approved. The highest standard of engineering excellent for the European market. Exclusive to Durston mills are the extension rolls. Lifetime guarantee on the bronze oilite bearings. All rolls are of the highest quality Swedish steel, hardened to 67/64 Rockwell C, and ground to perfection.

   
         
Durston Stacked Electric Mill D2E - 120 mm

Swedish Steel Rollers.  CE Approved.
D2E-6mm and the D2E-10mm are very robust, hardworking machines and are popular electric models.  They are compact in size and can be supplied as a bench or cabinet mounted model.  The rolls are of the highest quality Swedish roll steel with special heat treatment giving 67/64RC hardness and are ground to precision tolerances giving excellent roll accuracy.  Special anti-friction roller bearings are fitted as standard for minimum rolling friction and higher roll loading capacity. Excellent control with forward and reversing switch and inching in both directions. Optional: foot pedal control can be supplied, useful when there is a need to use both hands. 1 or 2 HP drives depending on application with any standard voltage. These models are also available as variable speed machines using inverter drive with special booster power for mid-range rolling speeds.

Durston Stacked Rolling Mills with Gear

Double rollers and high quality hardened helical gearing for long life. Models D2 and D4 have sheet capacities of 7mm and offer a working wire area of 1-15mm. Groove indicator for wire. Calibrated disc is easy to read. These machines have two sets of rolls, one for sheet (extended for D-shapes) and the other grooved for wire.  Set in high quality, maintenance-free bronze oilite bearings that are guaranteed for life.
